There’s always something exciting happening at GRIT Gymnastics in San Diego! From specialty skill clinics and holiday camps to our popular Parents’ Night Out on Fridays, our events are designed to help kids grow, move, and have fun in a supportive, high-energy environment.
During Parents’ Night Out, kids enjoy an evening of games, gymnastics, and friends — while parents get a chance to relax and experience the amazing food, breweries, and nightlife of Kearny Mesa. We’re located right in the heart of one of San Diego’s best dining and craft beer neighborhoods, making GRIT the perfect spot for both kids and parents to enjoy their Friday night.
Throughout the year, we also host gymnastics clinics, open gyms, and family-friendly events that keep our community active, connected, and full of GRIT!

GRIT Early Out Camp & Thanksgiving Break Camp
EARLY OUT CAMP: November 17-21 | 1 PM - 4:30 PM ($295/week)
THANKSGIVING CAMP: November 24, 25, 26, 28 (NO camp on Thanksgiving Day: 11/27!!)
Ages: TK–Middle School
Keep the kids active and entertained over break! Join us for a fun-filled week of gymnastics, games, crafts, and festive activities designed for all energy levels and age groups.

Kids Night Out
Every Friday |5 – 9 PM | Ages: 5 - 13 |Cost: $40/$10 additional sibling
Every Friday drop the kids off for an evening of fun while you enjoy a night out! Kids Night Out includes gymnastics instruction, group games, a themed craft, and plenty of time to jump, climb, and play in the gym. Perfect for those families in San Diego/Kearny mesa that are looking for a date night spot to drop off the kids!

Open Gym
Every Saturday 2 - 3 PM All Ages
Whether your child wants to practice skills from class, bounce on the trampoline, or just climb and play, Open Gym offers freedom and fun for all ages. Our coaches are there to provide supervision and keep things safe, but kids get to guide their own playtime.
It’s a great option for:
- Families wanting extra gym time outside of class
- Kids eager to practice their skills
- A fun activity with friends
- Rainy day energy-burners!
Leaps, Lumps, and Turns Clinic: Every Tenth Counts
Every Saturday in November Ages: 6 & up Cost: $40
Perfect your form, boost your height, and polish your technique! This clinic is designed for gymnasts of all levels who want to take their leaps, jumps, and turns to the next level — and keep those precious tenths on beam and floor.
Our coaches will break down proper body alignment, height, and control to help each athlete improve both artistry and precision. Whether you’re working toward cleaner split angles, higher jumps, or more consistent turns, this clinic will give you the tools (and drills!) to make every tenth count.
If you are a competitive gymnast in San Diego, you NEED this clinic.
Homeschoolers Free Play Day
Join us on November 14th, 2025 for a FREE day in our playgroup at GRIT at 11am.
Join us for a fun and active Free Homeschool Playgroup at GRIT! Kids can run, climb, swing, tumble, and build forts in our safe, open gym environment while parents connect with other homeschool families in San Diego.
It’s the perfect mid-day break — a place for kids to move, imagine, and make new friends while you meet other like-minded families in the community.
