There’s always something exciting happening at GRIT Gymnastics in San Diego! From specialty skill clinics and holiday camps to our popular Parents’ Night Out on Fridays, our events are designed to help kids grow, move, and have fun in a supportive, high-energy environment.
During Parents’ Night Out, kids enjoy an evening of games, gymnastics, and friends — while parents get a chance to relax and experience the amazing food, breweries, and nightlife of Kearny Mesa. We’re located right in the heart of one of San Diego’s best dining and craft beer neighborhoods, making GRIT the perfect spot for both kids and parents to enjoy their Friday night.
Throughout the year, we also host gymnastics clinics, open gyms, and family-friendly events that keep our community active, connected, and full of GRIT!

Annual Showcase!
Saturday, Feb. 28th from 4 - 6 PM | For All GRIT Kids!
Our Annual Showcase is one of our favorite days of the year—a joyful celebration of growth, confidence, and progress for every gymnast! All recreational levels are invited to participate, from Parent & Me all the way through Team and Adult classes.
Gymnasts will have the chance to show off skills they’ve been working so hard on in a fun, supportive, non-competitive environment. Every participant receives a medal because this day is about celebrating effort, courage, and improvement—not scores.

We highly encourage families to sign up early, as spots fill quickly! The Showcase is a meaningful way to mark progress, build confidence, and celebrate how far each gymnast has come—no matter where they’re starting from.
Kids Night Out
Every Friday | 5 – 9 PM | Ages: 5 - 13 |Cost: $40/$10 additional sibling
Every Friday drop the kids off for an evening of fun while you enjoy a night out! Kids Night Out includes gymnastics instruction, group games, a themed craft, and plenty of time to jump, climb, and play in the gym. Perfect for those families in San Diego/Kearny Mesa that are looking for a date night spot to drop off the kids!

Open Gym
Saturday 11 - 3 PM and Tuesday 6 - 8 PM | All Ages $15
Whether your child wants to practice skills from class, bounce on the trampoline, or just climb and play, Open Gym offers freedom and fun for all ages. Our coaches are there to provide supervision and keep things safe, but kids get to guide their own playtime.
It’s a great option for:
- Families wanting extra gym time outside of class
- Kids eager to practice their skills
- A fun activity with friends
- Rainy day energy-burners!
Clinic: Every Tenth Counts (Competitive Gymnasts)
Every Saturday in February from 2:15 - 3 PM | Ages: 6 & up Cost: $40
Come refine your skills and technique here with our amazing GRIT Gymnastics coaches! In this clinic we will focus on cleaning up routines that your child is competing while helping boost their confidence and skills.
This clinic is for all competitive gymnasts, not limited to GRIT competitive team. Xcel and Developmental athletes welcome.
